Recently Honey Badger Builders, a two-man partnership working out of Raleigh and Greensboro, made some extensive repairs to our deck and the fence in the back yard at our University Park home. We would highly recommend them for any such repair work as well as for building decks and fences from scratch. We learned about Honey Badger Builders from neighbors who had similar work done at their home and were also very happy with the results. Jacob, a recent graduate of NC State, and Freddy, with formal training in carpentry, were both a pleasure to work with; first when discussing and defining the project, and then in the performance. They did exactly what was agreed to but were flexible when unanticipated events came up – for example, after we had signed the contract, we discovered that a much larger section of our fence needed to be replaced then we had thought. The terms of this change were very reasonable and readily agreed to. Jacob and Freddie arrived promptly at eight a.m. and worked until about five p.m. each day until the job was completed. At the end of the job, they went with us on a walk around the project to see that all was as we wished and even declined compensation for a few last minute minor requests that were not in the original agreement.
